BC150 wants to extend a huge Thank You to everyone for a very successful year! Celebrations were held all around the province from Fort St. James to Radium Hotsprings to Cumberland. Over 1,200 events took place, from parades to Spirit Square openings, as well as street parties and cultural exhibits. It's been a wonderful year British Columbia!
BC150 Youth Video Contest Winners Announced
Grade 12 students in B.C. were invited to enter the BC150 Youth Video Contest by submitting a short video inspired by the theme What B.C. Means to Me.
Adjudication of all videos were conducted by an external committee chaired by Bill Thumm, Film Centre Manager at Capilano University Film Centre. Winning students each receive $2,500, with an additional $2,000 going to their school.
